Who I Am?

I, Dr. Glory-Prince Abayie Otabil am the founder and leader of Kindergarten Company and KindergartenU, a STEM startup passionate about creating modern learning experiences in forward thinking teams and environments.  Leading up to my establishment of KindergartenU, I was the founder and CEO of The Financial Yearbook a Fintech startup based in Tysons Corner, Virginia.  My network of educators, investors, entrepreneurs, visionaries and bakers have given me a note worthy leverage on funding for my projects.  I have 50+ registered business trademarks that  have generated collaboration activities with industry experts who have interest in developing ideas and solutions to society’s biggest needs.

I helped launch and raise $30 Million with my cousin and businessman Michael Nyinaku’s group- The Beige Group in Accra, Ghana and was the catalyst of The Beige  Talent; a leadership and talent development program for The Beige Group. My contribution as an exemplary figure for the Group consisting of teams Alpha and Elite was excellent which led to my successful transition to The United States of States of America where I founded The Kindergarten Company.  A Tech Leadership Idea Incubator.

With the ever-growing challenges facing Ghana and West Africa at large, my team’s cutting edge projects in developing Apps, Software, Courses, and real world application of artificial intelligence has been a joy to watch.  I hope to build a technology hub in my home country of Ghana and I “truly humbled by the support from my team and family”.

As the future un folds, my keen interest in education, especially STEM education has helped me grow and develop as a researcher and founder.  In an advanced world where I find myself, I interact with future tech and business leaders typically in  their current level of thinking and create new types of learning simulations through hands on experiences mostly in an open workspace environment.

Prince was born on March 11, 1990, in Accra, Ghana, where he spent his early years with his uncle and aunt. During his time in Ghana, he developed a deep interest in the country’s history, which he nurtured through extensive reading. In 2001, Prince migrated to the United States to join his parents but remained connected to his Ghanaian roots. He also traveled widely, acquiring essential life skills such as cooking and washing. Additionally, Prince spent 11 formative years under the mentorship of Pastor Jean Marie Ganey in Accra.

During his early education in Ghana, Prince was recognized as the best student in his second and third grades. He learned English during this time, which served him well when he moved to the United States, where he completed his schooling at Oliver Holmes School. He later earned a degree in Business Administration and embarked on a career in banking, initially serving as a Relationship Officer. In 2013, he took on the role of Operations Team Lead at The Beige Bank in Ghana.

Prince also ventured into investments, including stocks at Walmart, and launched a small business named “Startup GA (Incubator)” in Ghana. He holds multiple certifications, including one from the Ghana Stock Exchange, and has invested in various industries.

Prince is fluent in Twi, the language widely spoken in Ghana, and has suggested incorporating Twi into the website to better engage the Ghanaian audience in their native language. In addition to his professional pursuits, Prince served as a STEM teacher in the United States, where he taught subjects in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. He holds a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management from a U.S. institution and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. with the goal of becoming a consultant.
